Coastal Championship Wrestling “Alive” Episode 81 debuted on April 5, 2022 on YouTube. Both matches for this show were pre-taped at CCW Secret Treasure at the Mid-Florida Events Center in Port St. Lucie, Florida on February 12, 2022. Here is what happened:
MATCH #1
BRIAN BROCK (w/ LEW SPECTRE) vs. LAKAY

Big Bad Brian Brock attacked the wildly popular Lakay before the bell rang and dominated the early stages of this match. At various points, Brock would gouge the eyes of Lakay, stick his fingers in Lakay’s nose, and rub Lakay’s face into the mat to maintain his advantage.
Lakay tried to rally with a clothesline and an elbow drop, then signaled to the crowd that it was “dinner time.” But, after Lakay connected with a spinning side slam, Lew Spectre jumped up on the apron and distracted the referee. When Lakay went over to get involved, Brian Brock snuck up behind Lakay with a knee to the back and a surprise roll-up.
WINNER: BRIAN BROCK
MATCH #2
CHA CHA CHARLIE vs. ROMEO QUEVEDO
CCW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

The wildly popular Cha Cha Charlie, who won the CCW Heavyweight title at Bash at the Brew 11 on December 4, 2021, was at a size disadvantage in this title defense against Romeo Quevedo. However, Charlie had the fans firmly behind him. They chanted so loudly at the beginning of the match that it appeared to throw Quevedo off his game.
As the match got underway, neither man could take the other off of his feet. Cha Cha Charlie’s clothesline and consecutive chops had little effect on Quevedo. Conversely, Quevedo’s punches, forearms, and chops did nothing to slow the champion. Eventually, Charlie would pull down the ropes as Romeo Quevedo charged, sending the challenger to the outside. Charlie leapt to the top rope and hit Quevedo with a flying cross body to the outside.
Once the action returned to the ring, Quevedo took control once more. After a near fall, Quevedo went up to the top rope, but took too much time arguing with the fans on his way there. The crowd erupted when the champion jumped up to meet Quevedo, then hit a top rope Spanish Fly for a near fall. Sensing the end was near, Charlie went to the top rope once more. Quevedo followed, but Charlie pushed the challenger off and hit the Mangu Cross Body from the top rope to retain.
WINNER: CHA CHA CHARLIE
