Coastal Championship Wrestling “Alive” Episode 86 debuted Tuesday on YouTube. This episode’s match was pre-taped at CCW’s Bash at the Brew 15 from the Unbranded Brewing Company in Hialeah, Florida on April 8, 2022. Here is what happened:
MATCH #1
FUEGO DEL SOL vs. ALAN “S2S” MARTINEZ (c)
CCW CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Fuego del Sol’s debut in CCW started with a flurry. Neither man could gain an advantage as Fuego tries to use his aerial, acrobatic offense on Alan “S2S’ Martinez. The champion looked to slow the pace down to eliminate Fuego’s speed from the equation.
Martinez was able to contain Fuego del Sol briefly, but he could not stop him completely. Fuego did a cartwheel before landing a standing shooting star press that sent the champion outside the ring. Fuego hit a basement dropkick on the unsuspecting Martinez and went for a plancha. Martinez wisely moved out of the way, but Fuego followed him to the outside anyway. The combatants brawled on the outside until Martinez launched him into the ring post and then into the guardrail to take control of the match.

Back inside the ring, Martinez looked to slow the pace once more with a series of stomps and kicks, a leg drop to the back of the head and long-held chin lock. Finally, Fuego managed to get back on his feet and tried to come off the ropes with a springboard move. Martinez was ready and waiting. The champion dropkicked Fuego del Sol out of the sky mid-move.
Once back on this feet, Fuego used a charging European upper cut to stun the champion, a spear in the corner to do even more damage, and a asai moonsault to put Martinez away. Fuego took too long covering Martinez, though, and could not secure the pin.

After more back and forth from the competitors, Alan Martinez whipped Fuego into the corner. Fuego put the brakes on just before he collided with the referee who was standing in that corner. Fuego turned around just in time to evade a Martinez dropkick. However, the referee was not so lucky. Fuego del Sol hit his Tornado DDT, but there was no ref to count the pin. Alan Martinez hit Fuego with a low blow, but still no ref to count. Martinez went over and tried to wake the referee. As he did, Fuego hit the Tornado DDT and converted it into a bridge chin lock submission.
The champion tapped as the referee woke up and called for the bell. However, it was announced the the referee had disqualified Alan Martinez for the dropkick that knocked him out rather than the Fuego submission. As such, Martinez retained the Cruiserweight Championship yet again.
WINNER BY DISQUALIFICATION: FUEGO DEL SOL
