Live Review – Intergender Bonanza “IGB 12 Super Bonanza” – 5/7/22

Stan Sylez tries to get Adena Steele to join the cWo

Intergender Bonanza held IGB12 “Super Bonanza” from the H2O Wrestling Center in Williamstown, New Jersey on May 7, 2022 as Night two of a full weekend of Intergender Bonanza action. Here’s what happened:

Sonny Kiss joins the cWo

The show began with the familiar music of the cWo. As Marc Angel, Stan Stylez and Happy Hour explained what they had in store for Sonny Kiss, The Beautiful Badass interrupted and challenged Stan Stylez to start their match immediately. The referee rang the bell, the competitors started to lock up, but decided to “Too Sweet” each other instead. That’s right. Sonny Kiss is now a member of the Creamy World Order. The newly expanded faction challenged Marcus Mathers to find two partners to face them in a six man tag team main event.

MATCH #1
ARIELA NYX vs. STEVE SCOTT

2 Hot Steve Scott with two phones for two selfies

Steve Scott’s selfie game was strong on this night. Ariela Nyx made a point to tell the crowd that there would be no selfies taken, but Steve Scott had a plan. As they went to lockup, Scott put a hand in Nyx’s face, said “Stop,” and took a selfie. When Nyx threw the phone in the corner, Scott pulled out another phone and did it again. Once Nyx put the second phone in the corner, Scott pulled out two more phones for rapid fire selfies.

With the selfies out of the way, the competitors finally locked up and made their way to the corner. As the referee called for a break, Nyx pretended Scott slapped her, nearly resulting in a disqualification. They locked up again and ended up in the corner. As the referee called for another break, Nyx pretended Scott was actively pulling her hair. However, the referee and Steve Scott were both standing several feet away watching Nyx put on the performance of a lifetime.

As the match wound down, Nyx went back to the Eddie Guerrero bag of tricks. A Nyx Irish Whip almost caused a collision between Scott and the referee. As Scott put on the brakes, Nyx grabbed Scott’s cell phone from one corner. Nyx threw the phone at Scott, fell onto the mat, and told the referee that Scott hit her with it. In the confusion, Nyx tried to roll up Scott with a dirty pin, but got caught by the referee. As Nyx argued with the official, Scott put her in a Texas Cloverleaf. Nyx managed to kick out of the hold, but Scott rebounded off the ropes with a Shining Wizard.

WINNER: STEVE SCOTT

MATCH #2
MIRANDA GORDY vs. “CHONDOJIMMY LYON
BADSTREET USA STREET FIGHT

Chondo loads up his shopping cart with weapons for a street fight

Jimmy Lyon, who had been banned from the Bonanza after IGB10, was graciously allowed to return to get his revenge on Miranda Gordy. Chondo grabbed the microphone, went out to the ringside area, and told Gordy that a street fight should begin on the streets. Gordy followed Chondo out to the ringside area and was instantly pummeled with steel chairs.

The first several minutes of the match saw Gordy and Lyon using everything they could find around ringside, including plastic bats, balloons, and water jugs. Lyon took control with several face rakes across a section of steel cage positioned along the wall. From there, Lyon left the building and returned with a shopping cart full of goodies, including a stop sign, rubber chicken, and vinyl records.

Back inside the ring, Gordy laughed as she broke a series of vinyl records over Lyon’s head and threw several more at him like frisbees. Lyon grabbed the stop sign and set it in front of Gordy’s face, but missed the charging kick. Frustrated, Chondo grabbed a bed of nails from under the ring and set it up in one corner.

Lyon tried to whip her into the nails, but Gordy reversed. Chondo shrieked as his back hit the nails, and fell limp when Gordy body slammed him on top of the shopping cart for the win. As a consequence of his incompetence, Stan Stylez once again banned Chondo from the Bonanza.

WINNER: MIRANDA GORDY

MATCH #3
ADONIS VALERIO vs. NICK GRANDE

Adonis Valerio nasty chop to the chest of Nick Grande

Nick Grande got the fans behind him chanting, “Peacock, Peacock, Peacock” at cWo member Adonis Valerio, who had vanquished Love Doug the night before at IGB11. Grande really angered Valerio when he insinuated the Valerio had some of Stan Stylez cream on his lips. Valerio reminded the crowd that he has not just beaten Grande once, he has beaten him twice. Valerio used his two middle fingers to emphasize the point.

Soon, the action would spill outside the ring, where Grande enlisted the help of two audience members to hold Valerio’s arms as Grande chopped Valerio’s chest. Back inside the ring, Valerio would use a hurricanrana and a back breaker suplex combo to slow Grande’s momentum. Valerio stomped on Grande’s chest repeatedly, and nailed him with a basement dropkick in the corner.

Grande managed to evade a charging Valerio, lifted Adonis into a fireman’s carry and turned it into an old school airplane spin. With Valerio slumped in the corner, Grande charged, but was thrown up and over by Adonis. Valerio hit Grande with a piledriver from the apron to finally put Grande away.

WINNER: ADONIS VALERIO

MATCH #4
LADY BLAKELY vs. LOUIE RAMOS
BLOOD IN THE BONANZA MATCH

Louie Ramos bleeding profusely

This match was billed as a “Blood in the Bonanza” match and the competitors entered the arena looking for a fight. Louie Ramos came strapped with several home made weapons of violence that ended up causing a whole lot of damage. Surprisingly, the match started very scientifically, with Ramos and Blakely jockeying for an advantage. Eventually, the action would spill outside, where Ramos pounded on Blakely with vicious forearm shots.

Inside the ring, things really started to heat up, as a board with what looked like plastic knives was set up in the corner. Blakely used a suplex and a clothesline to stun Ramos, then raked his head along the serrated edges. When Ramos fell backward into the center of the ring, Blakely ripped one knife off and used it like a nail file across his forehead.

With Ramos bleeding profusely, Blakely grabbed a 2×4 with jagged aluminum cans attached, and grinded it into Ramos’ left arm. Blakely went back to the corner for another 2×4 with plastic forks stuck to it, but Ramos took it from her and spanked Blakely with it. Ramos grabbed one of the forks out of the board and dug it deep into Blakely’s head.

Blakely went outside the ring and grabbed several steel chairs plus the board with the plastic knives. Before she could use it, Ramos threw Blakely into another board in the opposite corner that had soup can lids sticking out of it. Ramos removed one sharp lid and raked it along Blakely’s face as both competitors were covered in blood. A Ramos axe bomber and leg drop looked to be the end, but Blakely escaped a fireman’s carry with an eye gouge, then used a snap mare onto the knives to get the pinfall.

WINNER: LADY BLAKELY

MATCH #5
DARIEN HARDWAY vs. ADENA STEELE

Darien Hardway and Adena Steele battle on the outside

After a brief intermission, Darien Hardway, who destroyed Shannon LeVangie at IGB11, found Adena Steele to be much stiffer competition. Early in the match, some impressive chain wrestling saw neither competitor with the upper hand. Steele would hit a splash and a running boot in the corner, then a belly to back suplex and spinning elbow to take control. Steele got the crowd behind her as she stood on the second rope and punched Hardway repeatedly as they counted. On “8” an agitated Hardway carried Adena to the center of the ring for a sit-out powerbomb.

Hardway used a long-held suplex with no hands to impress the crowd and lifted Steele up into a Razor’s Edge. Steele managed to wriggle out and mount some offense, but two Hardway spinebusters seemed to be too much for Adena Steele. Hardway went back to the Razor’s Edge and connected the second time, but Steele got her foot on the ropes to stop the pin attempt. As Hardway argued with the referee about the count, Steele dropped him onto the turnbuckle and lifted him up into the Steele Beam for the win.

After the match, Stan Stylez and the cWo offered Adena Steele a spot in the Creamy World Order. Steele vehemently refused and was attacked by Marc Angel, Happy Hour and Stan Stylez until, of all people, Darien Hardway ran back in to make the save. This set up the main event for Intergender Bonanza’s next show in July.

WINNER: ADENA STEELE

MATCH #6
BRITTANY BLAKE vs. DREW BLOOD

Brittany Blake is victorious against Drew Blood

Almost as soon as this match started, the action spilled outside. Blake used a spinning head scissors to throw Blood onto the ringside floor area. Blake looked for a basement dropkick, but Blood moved and slid back into the ring. Blood went for the tope, but Blake pulled the ropes down and sent Blood crashing onto the floor. Blake re-entered the ring and connected with a modified 619, a soccer kick to Blood’s face, and a hurricanrana onto the floor.

The action went back and forth when they returned to the ring, until Blake escaped a fireman’s carry and stunned Blood with a springboard cross-body. Fired up, Blake landed multiple forearms, a knee strike in the corner, and a bulldog. Blake took to the top rope, but was caught in an exploder suplex by Blood. Drew sat Blake back up on the top rope and climbed up for a superplex, Blake managed to reverse into a powerbomb and forced Blood to submit to the Tequila Sunrise.

WINNER: BRITTANY BLAKE

MATCH #7
MARCUS MATHERS, KRISTIAN ROSS, & CHRIS BRADLEY vs. cWo

Sonny Kiss and the cWo dominate Marcus Mathers

The question on everyone’s minds ever since the opening promo was, “Who will join Marcus Mathers to take on the cWo?” Quickly that question was answered as former H2O tag team champions, Kristian Ross and Chris Bradley joined Mathers in the ring for this wild six man main event.

Father and son started the match as Mathers and Angel had some fun at the other’s expense. Angel pointed to a “Marcus Sucks” sign in the crowd and sparked alternating chants of “Marcus Mathers” and “Marcus sucks!” Coming off the ropes, Mathers stopped, told Angel to “look over there,” then punched Angel in the face. Off the ropes again, Angel told Mathers to look, but Mathers just punched Angel in the face again.

Sonny Kiss tagged in and a flurry of acrobatic offense kicked off. Mathers tried to convert a cazadora into a victory roll, but only managed a two count. Oklahoma roll, two count. Mathers missed a roundhouse, but Kiss did not miss. Mathers tagged out to Kristian Ross as Kiss tagged in Stylez. Stan called for a test of strength and somehow got Ross onto his knees. Ross pumped up, but Stylez raked his face and threw three pairs of pants at Ross.

Angel tried to help Stylez, but Ross clotheslined both of them out of the ring. Chris Bradley followed behind with a tope suicida that leveled the entire cWo. Not to be outdone, Mathers came right behind Bradley with a somersault plancha and threw Angel back into the ring. Angel managed to reach Sonny Kiss for the tag and they double teamed Mathers in their corner. Kiss continued the onslaught with several forearms and a snap suplex, but a splits pin by Kiss was not enough to keep Mathers down.

Kiss hit a standing, twerking backflip on Mathers, but missed on the second one. Mathers tagged in Ross and Bradley followed. With Stan Stylez down in one corner, Bradley looked to charge. However, Angel grabbed Bradley’s leg and stopped him long enough for Stylez to hit Bradley with the Purple Nurple Suplex.

Angel tagged in and choked Bradley on the ropes, but Bradley moved as he charged which brought all six men into the ring. Quickly, Marc Angel and Marcus Mathers hit cutters at the same time to Sonny Kiss and Chris Bradley, respectively, then simultaneously kicked each other and rolled out of the ring. The referee’s count reached nine before all six wrestlers slid back into the ring at the same time.

Stylez grabbed his Shake Weight and pressed the slow motion button, resulting in wrestling action at a snail’s pace, as the crowd chanted, “Thiiiiiiiiis Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiis Aweeeeeeeesommmmmmmme!” Finally, Ross fell on top of, and headbutted, Stylez crotch which somehow snapped everyone out of slow motion mode. Stylez was up first with the cream in the mouth and stunner to Ross. Angel missed a superkick and hit Stylez instead as Marcus Mathers climbed up onto Bradley’s shoulders for a senton. Bradley followed with a splash from the top rope to end the night for the cWo.

WINNERS: MARCUS MATHERS, CHRIS BRADLEY & KRISTIAN ROSS
