Coastal Championship Wrestling “Alive” Episode 90 debuted Tuesday on YouTube. This episode’s matches was pre-taped at CCW St. Lucie Showdown II from the MidFlorida Events Center in St. Lucie, Florida on April 22, 2022. Here is what happened:
MATCH #1
BIG ENGLISH vs. THE CLEANSER, JOE GARCIA & REEVES PORTMAN
This episode began with Big English already in the ring with a microphone. He explained that CCW gave him permission to marry his fiancé Lina if he were to win his match. Lew Spectre interrupted and said that Big English’s opponent would not be coming. Spectre said he and his boys took care of that guy at the gas station down the street.
English said he did not care who his opponent is, because he would be marrying the love of his life no matter what. At that moment, Joe Garcia, The Cleanser, and Reeves Portman attacked Big English from behind and pummeled him briefly. In short order, the motivated Big English threw all three men off of him, forearmed Portman out of the ring, tossed The Cleanser on top of Portman, and powerslammed Garcia for the victory.
After the match, the episode cut to the couple celebrating their marriage in the ring. I am told that this was not a storyline marriage. This was a real legal marriage in a wrestling ring. Very cool. Congrats to Big English and Lina!

MATCH #2
KILYNN KING (c) vs. ASHLEY D’AMBOISE
CCW WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP
A confident, fan-supported Ashley D’Amboise looked primed to take down the Mother F-ing King on this night in St. Luce. The majority of the match was evenly contested with a lot of back and forth. Several lock ups ended with no advantage for either competitor and a reset as the match got underway.
Later, D’Amboise would charge King in the corner and be thrown up and over onto the apron. King rammed the challenger’s head into various turnbuckles, then hit Ashley with a knee to the face from the second rope. D’Amboise was knocked from the apron and King followed her out onto the floor.
Back inside the ring, Kilynn King tried everything she could to put D’Amboise away, but had no luck. King smashed the challenger with a reverse STO, but missed on the subsequent Shining Wizard. Later, King countered a rebounding Ashley with a Hogan-like boot to the face, but could only manage a two count. King would hit two back splashes and a vertical spinning suplex, but D’Amboise would not stay down.
Seemingly feeling invincible, D’Amboise escaped King’s Excalibuster attempt and dropped the champion with a rotating neck breaker and leveled her with a spear that almost ended the match. In frustration, D’Amboise slammed King’s head into the mat repeatedly and walked away for a moment, When she re-engaged, though, the champion immediately reversed into The Excalibuster for the win.
WINNER: KILYNN KING
