Coastal Championship Wrestling “Alive” Episode 96 debuted Tuesday on YouTube. This episode’s match was pre-taped at Bash at the Brew 17 from the Unbranded Brewing Company in Hialeah, Florida on June 4, 2022. Here is what happened:
OPENING SEGMENT
BILL ALFONSO & ARIEL LEVY

Ariel Levy and Bill Alfonso were already in the ring discussing Ariel Levy’s actions at Bash at the Brew 16 when Levy turned on Alfonso and tag partner Vinicious. Alfonso said that Vinicious, with tears running down his face, told him to tell Ariel that all is forgiven. Alfonso said that, if Vinicious could forgive Levy so would he.
Levy seemed to get emotional at Alfonso’s plea, Ariel hugged Alfonso in the center of the ring but then kneed him in the stomach and knocked him out with a DDT. Referees and officials poured out of the dressing room to pull Levy off of Alfonso and escort him to the back. Clearly this relationship is broken beyond repair. What’s next for the members of the former South American Alliance?
MATCH #1
KILYNN KING vs. LaBRAVA
CCW WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP

Another week, another brutal title defense for the CCW Women’s Champion Kilynn King. Fresh off of her recent appearance on AEW Dark, La Brava seemed confident that she could dethrone the Mother F’in King as so many have tried before her.
The action would spill outside the ring early after a Kilynn King exploder suplex. King followed the challenger to the outside and ended up with her head rammed into the ring post by La Brava. King rolled back in the ring, but La Brava hung back in search of a weapon. She found a steel chair, but thought better of using it. Instead, La Brava choked the champion with the ring ropes, then hit a European upper cut to King’s back as she remained draped over the ropes.
La Brava remained in control through the commercial break, but Kilynn King managed to get an elbow up in the corner as La Brava charged. King followed with a hard boot and a step up ensiguri which left both competitors on the mat exhausted. When the competitors made it to their feet, King unleashed eight consecutive overhand chops to La Brava’s chest, dropped her with a short arm clothesline, and caught her off the ropes with a German suplex.
This time, La Brava made it to her feet first and caught King with a knee to the face to set up a Twist of Fate. The challenger climbed to the top rope, but King met her up there. The champion used rapid fire punches and a running knee from the opposite corner to set up a fall away slam that nearly earned King the pinfall. Subsequently, La Brava would escape a fireman’s carry and make her way back to the top rope. From there, she connected with a flying cross body, but could also not secure the victory.
Visibly frustreated, La Brava climbed on King’s chest and pummeled her with strikes, then went outside the ring and grabbed the championship belt. Back in the ring, the referee took the belt from La Brava. As the referee looked for a safe place to put the belt, La Brava grabbed a chair. The referee took that from La Brava, as well. As the challenger pleaded her case with the referee, King snuck up behind her, hit her with a kick to the midsection, and finished her off with the Excalibuster.
WINNER: KILYNN KING
