Coastal Championship Wrestling “Alive” Episode 101 debuted Tuesday on YouTube. This episode’s match was pre-taped at Bash at the Brew 18 from the Unbranded Brewing Company in Hialeah, Florida on July 2, 2022. Here is what happened:
MATCH #1
ARIEL LEVY vs. CHA CHA CHARLIE
CCW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Ariel Levy spoke to open this episode. Levy said he is the real star and the face of CCW. On the other hand, Cha Cha Charlie’s face is so bad, they only let him be in a commercial if he wore a mask. Levy said he plans to take the CCW championship and send Cha Cha Charlie back to the mid-card where he belongs.
The champion took control early with a German Suplex and running knees that sent Levy out to the floor to regroup. Charlie would miss the tope suicida, but regained control on the outside and threw Levy back in. As we went to commercial, Levy saw Charlie come off the ropes and countered with a roll up for a two count.
When we returned, Levy was firmly in control of the match. He casually dropped successive elbows to the head as Charlie tried to crawl to safety. Levy hit a modified Bronco Buster followed by a fisherman’s suplex and took a bow for the crowd. Levy climbed to the top rope, but Charlie followed him up there. Levy fought back with a tornado DDT from the top rope that left both men down on the mat.

Unable to put Charlie away with the DDT, Levy went back to the ringside area and tried to bring the steel ring steps into the ring as a weapon. Luckily for Cha Cha Charlie, the referee stopped Levy before he could us the weapon which gave Charlie time to recover and lock the challenger in a Sharpshooter.
Levy reached the ropes and forced a break, then rolled outside. When Charlie stuck his head out to check on his opponent, Levy pulled his neck across the middle rope. Slowly, Levy climbed back to the top rope and put Cha Cha Charlie’s hat on his head to the dismay of the capacity crowd.
In the meantime, Charlie made it to his feet, climbed the ropes and dropped Levy with an Exploder Superplex. Levy rolled outside the ring and Charlie followed. The pair brawled on the floor until Charlie reversed a charging Ariel Levy into a spinebuster on the steps and rolled back inside the ring.

This time, it was Charlie who climbed to the top rope from the apron, but because of Levy’s antics earlier in the match, Charlie could not find his hat. This delay allowed Levy time to see the Mangu Splash coming and move out of the way. Levy followed up with a Codebreaker, but still could not secure the victory.
Incensed, Levy tried to remove one of the turnbuckle pads. The referee took the turnbuckle pad away from Levy, but was too distracted to see Levy pull a pair of brass knuckles out of his tights. Levy missed on his first swing, but cracked Charlie in the face with the weapon as Charlie lifted him up for a back suplex. Levy fell on top of Charlie for the one, two, three and a new champion was crowned.
Afterward, Levy confronted Bill Alfonso at ringside and called him a “90s nostalgia act.” Levy said he accomplished all of this without the help of Alfonso and that “Brazilian moron,” Vinicious. It will be interesting to see how Vinicious responds upon his return to action in CCW.
