Coastal Championship Wrestling “Alive” Episode 110 debuted Tuesday on YouTube. This episode’s match was pre-taped at Bash at the Brew 20 from the Unbranded Brewing Company in Hialeah, Florida on September 3, 2022. Here is what happened:
MATCH #1
ARIEL LEVY (c) vs. GANGREL
CCW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
The CCW Heavyweight Champion, Ariel Levy, tried various strategies to gain the upper hand with little success early on in the match. Gangrel started with a flurry and Levy took to the outside to regroup and confer with Allan “S2S” Martinez. Gangrel followed and got Levy back into the ring. However, as Gangrel tried to climb back in, Martinez held onto his feet. While Levy argued with the referee about Martinez’ interference, Martinez snapped Gangrel’s neck across the bottom rope.
Later, Levy reversed a Gangrel Irish Whip and came off the ropes with a basement dropkick to the knee that immediately caused Gangrel to limp. As Gangrel tried to mount a comeback, he whipped Levy into the ropes and went for a powerslam. However, Gangrel’s knee buckled which caused him to drop Levy mid-move.
Looking to take advantage, Levy drove Gangrel into the corner and tried to whip him into the opposite corner. Gangrel summoned enough strength to reverse and send Levy into the corner, but Levy collided with referee Amy Veronica, knocking her out. Gangrel hit the Impailer DDT, but there was no referee to count the pinfall. At the same time, Martinez climbed to the top ropes and hit a shotgun dropkick, then joined Levy in a two-on-one attack on Gangrel.
As the referee came to and rose to her feet, Levy and Martinez tried to whip Gangrel into the ropes. Unfortunately, they whipped Gangrel right into Amy Veronica which knocked her out once again. Martinez hit a superkick and Levy hit a codebreaker as the referee started to come to. Levy attempted a pin, but was stunned when Gangrel managed to kick out at two.
Gangrel mounted a comeback with several stiff shots, then used an Irish Whip to cause a collision between Levy and Martinez. Off the rebound, Gangrel hit the Impailer on Levy once again. This time, as the referee counted the pinfall, Martinez pulled her out of the ring by her leg to stop the count. This resulted in Martinez being ejected from ringside.
With the referee distracted yet again by Martinez, Levy tried to hit Gangrel with a steel chair. Gangrel grabbed the chair from Levy as the referee turned around. When the referee confronted Gangrel and took the chair, Levy pulled out a pair of brass knuckles, nailed Gangrel, hit a Codebreaker, and laid on top of him for the easy pin.
