Coastal Championship Wrestling “Alive” Episode 118 debuted Tuesday on YouTube. This episode’s match was pre-taped at Bash at the Brew 22 from the Unbranded Brewing Company in Hialeah, Florida on November 5, 2022. Here is what happened:
MATCH #1
CHRIS FARROW vs. ALAN “S2S” MARTINEZ vs. JAI VIDAL (c)
CCW CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
As expected, this triple threat match started at full speed and never slowed down. The champion, Jai Vidal, took control early but stopped to celebrate just long enough for Alan Martinez to dropkick him outside the ring. Martinez turned his attention to Farrow until Vidal showed signs of life on the outside. At that point, Martinez rolled outside and slammed Vidal into the ring steps to keep him immobilized.
Martinez punished Farrow in one corner, at one point, standing on his face until the referee forced a break. Vidal eventually re-entered but was immediately hit with a facebuster and a sit out power bomb that nearly ended the match. Somehow, Farrow regrouped while this was going on. Farrow rammed Vidal’s head into Martinez, then hit a neckbreaker on Martinez and a DDT to Vidal at the same time.
With the momentum, Farrow threw Martinez out, then Vidal, and hopped onto the apron. Martinez ducked a running kick and threw Farrow into the ring steps. With Farrow’s foot caught between the steps and the post, Martinez bashed the steps and appeared to have taken Farrow out of the match. Officials rushed to ringside and assisted a limping Farrow to the back.
While the officials worked on Farrow, Martinez threw the champion back into the ring. Martinez locked Vidal in a reverse Sharpshooter/chin lock, but Vidal managed to kick out and escape. Vidal kipped up and hit a full nelson suplex, an ensuguri, and a series of running forearms. However, Martinez reversed a piledriver into a German suplex followed by a meteora which left both men down.
Eventually, the competitors made it to their feet and took turns as they no-sold each other’s clotheslines and headbutts. At that moment, Farrow limped out from the dressing room. The two healthy competitors attacked Farrow, but Chris sent Vidal outside the ring immediately. Martinez tried to lock Farrow in the same reverse sharpshooter that was so effective on Vidal. However, Farrow reversed into a small package for the pin and the CCW Cruiserweight Championship.
