TV Review – CCW Alive Episode 123

Coastal Championship Wrestling “Alive” Episode 123 debuted Tuesday on YouTube. This episode’s match was pre-taped at Bash at the Brew 23 “The King of the Territory” from the Unbranded Brewing Company in Hialeah, Florida on December 3, 2022. Here is what happened:

MATCH #1
NICOLTH LUCERO vs. KELSEY REAGAN

Nicolth Lucero looked to extend her winning streak against veteran Kelsey Reagan and early on she seemed to have the match in hand. However, Lucero telegraphed a sidewalk slam and got reversed into a hurricanrana by the crafty Reagan. When Lucero tried to responde, Reagan yanked her back down to the mat by her hair. As we went into commercial, Reagan slammed Lucero’s face into the mat and locked her in a bow and arrow type submission.

When we returned from break, we found Reagan running Lucero’s face along the top ring rope before locking her in a rear chin lock for an extended period. Lucero tried to battle out, but Reagan again yanked her down to the mat by her hair, then draped her neck over the middle rope and choked her until the referee nearly call for the disqualification.

After another near disqualification for a standing boot choke in the corner, Reagan charged but Lucero managed to get an elbow up to stun Reagan, then hit a bulldog out of the corner. Lucero followed up a double underhook suplex and lifted Reagan into a fireman’s carry. However, Reagan wriggled out, hit a discus forearm off the ropes and nearly got a submission with bridge toe hold chin lock.

When we returned from the final commercial break, both competitors were on the second rope. Lucero jumped down first and drilled Reagan with a power bomb. Lucero attempted a double underhook suplex, but got reversed into a roundhouse kick. Lucero tried again, though. This time hitting a double underhook sit out power bomb for the win.

WINNER: NICOLTH LUCERO
