Coastal Championship Wrestling “Alive” Episode 140 debuted Tuesday on YouTube. This episode’s matches were pre-taped at CCW Anniversary 19 from the MidFlorida Events Center in Port St. Lucie, Florida on April 21, 2023. Here is what happened:
MATCH #1
QROWN (c) vs. ALEX XCEAN & AGONY vs. ALEX CHAMBERLAIN & DAMIEN FENRIR
CCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TLC MATCH
This match turned into a brawl from the opening bell and ended up spreading throughout the venue. Agony grabbed a steel chair to attack both members of The Qrown, and Alex Xcean followed suit. Xcean then turned his attention to Damien Fenrir. Xcean threw a chair right at Fenrir’s face and followed with another chair shot to Fenrir’s crotch. Xcean then grabbed a ladder, set it up in one corner and suplexed Fenrir into it.
After the commercial, Fenrir managed to escape an attempted body slam onto the ladder, and reversed into a body slam of his own on Alex Xcean onto the ladder which had been set up on its side. Not done, Fenrir immediately bounced off the ropes and hit a beautiful suicide dive onto Agony near the entrance ramp which brought the crowd to its feet.
Later, The Qrown would double team Alex Chamberlain and whip him into the ladder in the corner. In the commotion, Leonis and Maximus failed to notice Agony had re-entered the ring and was standing behind them. Agony went for a double chokeslam, but The Qrown escaped the move and hit Agony with one of their own.
Fenrir and Xcean came off the top rope with simultaneous dropkicks to Leonis and Maximus, then turned on each other. Xcean put Fenrir’s head in the center of the ladder, but Fenrir moved before Xcean could slam it on his head. Fenrir put Xcean’s head in the same position and managed do some damage to Xcean by hitting the ladder with a steel chair with Xcean’s head still inside.
Alex Chamberlain, who moments earlier could be seen piledriving Agony on the steel steps at ringside, grabbed a table and tried to set it up near the entrance ramp. Unfortunately, Chamberlain broke the legs on one table and had to go back to ringside to switch the broken table with another one. Finally, Chamberlain got the table set up and tried to power bomb Alex Xcena through it. Xcean escaped and hit three superkicks to Chamberlain, the third of which sent Chamberlain through the table.
From there, Xcean would set up a door across two chairs near the entrance ramp and laid Chamberlain across it. After some trouble climbing the narrow truss over the ramp, Xcean crashed onto Chamberlain with an elbow drop that sent both competitors through the wooden door. At this point, the arena lights turned off and the emergency lights came on for some unknown reason.
Once we could see again, we would find The Qrown in the ring with Xcean, Alex hit three chair shots to Leonis, then set up four chairs facing each other near one corner. Xcean laid Leonis across the chairs and climbed to the top rope, but Damian Fenrir jumped up onto the apron, knocked Xcean off the top rope and sent him crashing through the chairs just as Leonis managed to move out of the way.
When that occurred, Leonis and Maximus pounced. Maximus tried to whip Alex Xcean into the corner with a table set up, but Xcean put on the brakes before he went through it. Maximus charged and Xcean moved, but Maximus also managed to hit the brakes just in time. Unfortunately for Alex Xcean, he lost sight of Leonis Khan. Leonis followed behind, charged toward the corner, and speared the unsuspecting Xcean through the table for the win.
