Coastal Championship Wrestling “Alive” Episode 143 debuted Tuesday on YouTube. This episode’s match was pre-taped at Bash at the Brew 28 from the Unbranded Brewing Company in Hialeah, Florida on May 6, 2023. Here is what happened:
MATCH #1
ALAN ‘S2S’ MARTINEZ & JACKAL STEVENS vs. ARIEL LEVY & METO
Jackal Stevens and Meto used the support of the fans to start this match hot. Stevens clotheslined Ariel Levy over the top rope, then Stevens and Martinez hit tope suicidas to Levy and Meto that got the crowd even more jacked. Stevens threw Levy back into the ring for some hard chops and a Thesz Press before Levy used an eye rake to even the score.
Stevens would evade a charging Levy and lifted the CCW Champion onto the top turnbuckle. Levy tried a cross body but Stevens caught him mid-air and lifted Levy into a suplex. Levy escaped, but Stevens managed to hit a springboard back elbow from the second rope before Levy tagged Meto.
Stevens hit an ensiguri to Meto and tagged Alan S2S Martinez to assist with a modified Hart Attack that used a leg lariat instead of a clothesline. Martinez reversed a whip into the corner by leaping up and over, then followed with two arm drags and an ensiguri. Stevens tagged in once more and hit a spinning heel kick before Meto picked Stevens up and drove him into his corner.
From there, Levy and Meto successfully double-teamed Stevens in their corner while tagging in and out. Stevens attempted to reverse a whip into the corner by leaping to the top rope, but Meto quickly joined Jackal up top and used a side suplex to send Stevens crashing back to the mat.
Levy returned with a reverse neck breaker to set up a Meteora in the corner, but Stevens moved and rolled Levy up for a quick two count. From the apron, Meto sucker-punched Stevens, then choked Stevens behind the referee’s back while Levy argued with the referee.
Levy went back to the Meteora knees and was successful the first time with high knees, then again with low knees as Stevens slumped in the corner. As Stevens tried to stand Stevens back up, Jackal unloaded with a series of punches and an Exploder Suplex into the corner that left both men down.
Stevens managed to crawl over to make the hot tag to Alan S2S Martinez. In an incredible sequence, Martinez hit two dropkicks, a lariat, and another dropkick, then reversed a whip with a back flip over top of Meto followed by a German Suplex and a split-legged moonsault. Levy broke up the pin attempt and Martinez’ attention was briefly diverted. Meto snuck up behind as Martinez argued with Levy and lifted S2S into a press slam.
Levy entered the ring as Meto knocked Jackal Stevens off of the apron. Levy and Meto began tuning up the band, but Stevens recovered quickly and clotheslined Meto over the top rope. Levy watched as Meto and Stevens battled through the curtain to the back, then turned around to find himself face to face with Martinez.
Martinez and Levy exchanged words and then punches in the center of the ring until Levy used a knee to the mid-section to set up a whip and German Suplex. As Martinez recoiled, Levy went for a codebreaker, but Martinez evaded. Martinez tried to lift the champion into a torture rack, but Levy wriggled out. Suddenly, though, Martinez used a Victory Roll to get a quick 3 count and the win.
