Coastal Championship Wrestling “Alive” Episode 147 debuted Tuesday on YouTube. This episode matches were pre-taped at CCW The Kumite 3 from the CCW Arena in Pompano Beach, Florida on June 17, 2023. Here is what happened:
MATCH #1
NICOLTH LUCERO vs. LINDSAY SNOW
STEEL CAGE MATCH
Lindsay Snow made her return to CCW after a lengthy absence and was faced with Nicolth Lucero inside the cage, as well as Nicolth’s sister Tiffany on the outside of the cage. The cage is usually meant to keep people outside the ring from interfering and to keep the combatants inside the ring. Both attempts failed miserably in this match.
Before the bell rang, Snow kicked Lucero through the cage door and out onto the floor. Snow followed Lucero out to the floor and had the upper hand until Tiffany jumped into the fray to help her sister. With that assistance, Lucero sent Snow back into the ring and maintained control while working Snow’s arm.
Snow tried to mount a rally after a springboard arm drag and several kicks to Lucero’s lower back, but Nicolth quickly regained control and slowed things back down with a rear chin lock on the mat followed by a bow and arrow submission. When Snow broke out of that hold, a bulldog and a double underhook suplex from Lucero left both women down on the mat.
When the competitors made it to their feet, Snow lifted Lucero into a fireman’s carry, but accidentally spun around and caused Lucero’s feet to knock out the referee. As soon as that happened, Tiffany Lucero ran into the cage for another double team. However, Snow caught Tiffany and locked her in rear choke with leg scissors which caused Tiffany to instinctively tap out. The groggy referee looked up, saw Tiffany tapping out, thought it was Nicolth tapping, and called for the bell.
WINNER: LINDSAY SNOW
MATCH #2
ARIEL LEVY (c) vs. ALAN ‘S2S’ MARTINEZ
CCW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP STEEL CAGE MATCH
We just saw a match between Levy and Martinez in CCW Alive episode 146. This week, the war between the former friends and allies continued inside a steel cage. Martinez had the hot hand to start this match, so much so that Levy quickly used an Irish Whip in the corner as momentum to leap up and start climbing the cage to escape Martinez.
After Martinez pulled Levy back down, Levy used a low blow to even the score, then began slamming Martinez’ head into the steel cage. After a second rope leg drop, Levy again tried to escape. Levy asked for the door to open, got onto the steel steps, then changed his mind and went back into the cage and pulled out a pair of brass knuckles.
Martinez blocked the brass knuckles punch from Levy, picked them up and clocked the champion with a punch of his own. With Levy busted open and bloodied on the mat, Martinez called for the cage door to open and nearly made it out. Levy managed to stop Martinez briefly, then hurriedly tried to climb the cage again. Martinez leapt up top with Levy and used a German Suplex to send him crashing back to the mat.
Somehow, Levy was first to his feet and hit a codebreaker to Martinez. Levy again tried to climb the cage, and this time made it almost all the way over the top, until Martinez caught Levy by the hair and pulled him back in far enough to superplex Levy from the top of the cage. Not convinced that Levy was finished off, Martinez called for, and hit, the GTS, then began crawling toward the door. At that moment, Meto ran in, slammed the door on Martinez’ head, grabbed Ariel Levy by the arm, and dragged the champion out of the cage.
WINNER: ARIEL LEVY
