Coastal Championship Wrestling “Alive” Episode 153 debuted Tuesday on YouTube. This episode’s match and special presentation segment were pre-taped at CCW Bash at the Brew 30 from the Unbranded Brewing Company in Hialeah, Florida on July 1, 2023. Here is what happened:
MATCH #1
SHELLY BENSON vs. MILA MOORE
We picked this match up already in progress with Mila Moore on the outside of the ring regrouping with her buddies Cam and Rich. When Moore finally returned to the ring, Benson locked her in a Fujiwara arm bar until Cam and Rich ran in and distracted Benson so Moore could launch a sneak attack from behind.
Later, Benson tried to go back to the Fujiwara arm bar, but Rich ran in and switched places with Mila Moore. When Benson realized she had Rich and not Mila, she kicked Rich out of the ring. As she did that, Moore snuck up for a quick roll up with her feet on the ropes for leverage. The referee caught Mila and stopped the count. As Mila argued with the referee, Shelly Benson rolled Moore up and used her feet on the ropes for leverage to get the win.
WINNER: SHELLY BENSON
SPECIAL PRESENTATION
ARIEL LEVY’S ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
With a covered table in the ring, Ariel Levy and Meto made their way to the ring to celebrate Levy’s one year anniversary as CCW Heavyweight Champion. Levy demanded everyone rise as the Chilean national anthem played, then explained to the fans how he, alone, made CCW bigger than it ever has been before.
Levy said that CCW has gone from two shows a month to five under his reign, not to mention the twenty percent increase in social media since he won the title last year. Levy said he has defeated all of the fan favorites, such as Gangrel and Cha Cha Charlie. In celebration of his accomplishment, Levy uncovered the table to reveal cans of beer. Levy said he would now give the fans the beer that they deserve.
At that moment, Jackal Stevens’ music began to play and Stevens made his way to the ring. Levy grabbed a can of beer, forcefully pressed it into Stevens’ chest and demanded that Stevens join him in a toast to the champ. Levy turned around and said, “To the champion you all deserve” just as Jackal Stevens clocked Levy in the head with his beer can. After dispatching Meto and power bombing Levy through the table, Stevens grabbed the microphone and demanded the title shot he deserves,
