Coastal Championship Wrestling “Alive” Episode 155 debuted Tuesday on YouTube. This episode’s match was pre-taped at CCW Conquer Kissimmee 13 from Sun on the Beach in Kissimmee, Florida on July 14, 2023. Here is what happened:
MATCH #1
ARIEL LEVY (c) vs. ARIEL DOMINGUEZ
CCW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP LADDER MATCH
There was an extended feeling out process between these two competitors as the match got underway. After the first commercial break, Ariel Levy took control with a low blow and immediately went outside the ring to get a ladder. Dominguez recovered, followed Levy outside, and battered him with the ladder around ringside and up to the entrance ramp. Once there, Dominguez suplexed Levy, then set up the ladder, and hit a flying cross body on Levy before returning to the ring.
Dominguez took the ladder to the ring, set it up in the center, and started to climb as Ariel Levy slowly and painfully followed behind. The champion made it into the ring just in time to knock the ladder over as Dominguez reached for the championship belt. From there, Levy set the ladder up in one corner and slingshotted Dominguez’ face into it.
Levy continued to use the ladder to dominate, at one point placing Dominguez in the middle of the ladder and slamming it shut on him. It was all good for Levy until he set the ladder up in one corner, placed Dominguez in front of it, and charged. Somehow, Dominguez moved out of the way at the last second, sending Levy’s Meteora knees crashing into the ladder.
Quickly, Dominguez hit a DDT and went outside for a second ladder. Dominguez set the ladder up in the ring and started climbing, but Levy again made it in time to try to stop his progress. Instead, Dominguez went on the offensive and launched a moonsault from the top of the ladder onto Levy that sent the champion to the outside to regroup.
With Levy on the outside, Dominguez started to climb the ladder once more. Once again, Levy ran in to try to stop him. Levy pulled Dominguez off the ladder by one leg, then set the ladder and Dominguez in one corner. Levy placed the ladder in front of the slumped Dominguez and hit a Shane McMahon-style Coast to Coast that really should have finished off the challenger.
Somehow, Dominguez kept fighting. As Levy climbed the ladder this time, seemingly unopposed, Dominguez suddenly sprang into the picture from the apron and landed on top of the ladder. The two men battled at the top of the ladder until Dominguez hit a sunset flip on Levy from the top that got the fans chanting, “HOLY SHIT!! HOLY SHIT!!”
With all of the momentum, Dominguez started to climb the ladder once more. Before Dominguez could reach the top and retrieve the belt, Hector Perfecto inexplicably ran in from the back and hit Dominguez with a mirror. When Dominguez fell, Hector Perfecto helped the weary champion climb the ladder and capture the belt.
WINNER: ARIEL LEVY
