Coastal Championship Wrestling “Alive” Episode 160 debuted Tuesday on YouTube. This episode’s matches were pre-taped at CCW Conquer Kissimmee 14 from Sun on the Beach in Kissimmee, Florida on August 11, 2023. Here is what happened:
MATCH #1
AMBER NOVA vs. LINDSAY SNOW
This match began with a feeling out process and some impressive chain wrestling during which Lew Spectre snuck his way down to ringside. He would make his presence felt later. In the meantime, Lindsay Snow used two running upper cuts and a basement dropkick to take control of the match. Snow withstood a small package pin attempt and quickly locked Amber Nova in a surfboard submission.
Nova escaped the surfboard, but soon found herself in a Lindsay Snow chin lock on the mat. When Snow broke the hold, she whipped Nova into the ropes and got reversed with a hurricanrana. Nova followed with two clotheslines and a springboard cross-body from the second rope for a near fall.
Snow returned fire with a fireman’s carry cutter for near fall. Snow countered with a cazadora roll up and a cutter of her own, each for near falls. Snow hit a spinebuster off of an Irish Whip, then Lew Spectre handed Snow two shot glasses. Snow drank one shot, then threw the other drink in Amber Nova’s face, resulting in a disqualification.
After the match, Spectre and Snow double teamed Amber Nova until Cha Cha Charlie ran in to make the save. Right behind Charlie was Blake Troop who attacked Charlie from behind. When it was all said and done, Lew Spectre, Lindsay Snow, and Blake Troop stood tall in celebration in the center of the ring.
WINNER BY DQ: AMBER NOVA
MATCH #2
HECTOR PERFECTO vs. ARIEL DOMINGUEZ
Ariel Dominguez hit the ring with purpose and went right from Hector Perfecto before the bell rang. A flurry of offense from both men ended with a blue thunderbomb from Dominguez, but Perfecto reversed a whip into the corner and hit a buckle bomb followed by a double stomp on Dominguez.
Perfecto maintained control through most of the match, except for a couple of rally attempts from Dominguez. Perfecto hit two slams, but Dominguez escaped the third and unloaded with a series of strikes. Dominguez went for a cannonball in the corner, but Perfecto moved and used a slam to set up an elbow drop. Later, Dominguez tried to rally with a knee strike to Perfecto. However, Perfecto escaped the subsequent fireman’s carry and stunned Dominguez with a DDT.
Perfecto got a near fall after the DDT, then another following a dropkick. Hector decided to set Dominguez on the top turnbuckle and climbed up for a superplex. Dominguez managed to block the move, punched Perfecto down to the mat and hit a flying cross body that left both men down.
After the commercial, Perfecto regained control with a back stabber, then set Dominguez in the corner for a series of punches. Suddenly, Dominguez jumped over Perfecto for a sunset flip and the got the one, two, three. Furious at the result, Perfecto smashed his mirror over Ariel Dominguez’ head after the match.
WINNER: ARIEL DOMINGUEZ
