VLADIMIR KOLOFF

Before ring announcer Omar Jamal could introduce the participants in the first match, Vladimir Koloff interrupted and demanded that everyone stand and respect the playing of the Russian national anthem. He warned the fans that, by the end of the night, everyone would respect him, his country and everything he stands for.
MATCH #1
BLOOD BROTHERS (c) vs. GOLDEN GLOVERS vs. RUSSIAN ASSASSINS
AWA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TRIPLE THREAT MATCH

The opening match of the night was to be a triple threat match for the AWA tag team championships. However, as of bell time, only two of the teams had been announced. The Golden Glovers entered the arena first. They waited for the AWA tag team champions, The Blood Brothers, to be introduced then attacked them before they could hit the ring.
Still with no idea who the third team would be, the Golden Glovers and the Blood Brothers brawled at ringside and immediately involved weapons. When the action finally made its way to the ring, Landon Hernandez and OTP, subbing for the incarcerated Maxx Mercy, faced off briefly in the center of the ring. OTP hit a back body drop that sent Landon Hernandez crashing into a ladder set up in one corner.
Moments later, two masked men in red masks adorned with Russian sickles ran in from the back and attacked Hernandez and his partner Cesar Bambino. Bambino was quickly dispatched, leaving Hernandez to a two-on-one beat down until the Russians turned their attention to the Blood Brothers outside the ring.
The Golden Glovers recovered and joined the ringside brawl, which quickly broke into three separate skirmishes. Raze of the Blood Brothers was the first back in the ring with Hernandez following right behind with a steel chair. Hernandez clocked Raze with the chair, then wedged the chair between two turnbuckles in the opposite corner.
Raze reversed a whip into the corner and sent Landon Hernandez crashing into the steel chair. However, Cesar Bambino snuck up behind and attacked Raze, ultimately hitting a frog splash that seemed certain to end the match. When that garnered just a two count, Bambino grabbed OTP and held him tight to assist with a Landon Hernandez rolling neck breaker that won the match and the tag titles for the Golden Glovers.

MANNY LO

Manny Lo came to the ring next to discuss his match against AK later in the evening for the vacant AWA Open Championship. Manny Lo pretended not to know who AK was, and stated that it did not matter who his opponent was. Manny predicted that he would win his match and the Open Championship to get the “Era of So Fresh, So Clean, and So Fly” started.
MATCH #2
ZION HART (c) vs. ELLIOT SHOCK
AWA TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP

Zion Hart entered the arena next to celebrate his newly won AWA Television Championship. Hart said his victory proves that you never give up and you keep fighting until you get what you want. Hart said that the title comes with the responsibility of proving to everyone in the locker room how good you really are.
Just as Hart promised to be a fighting champion, Elliot Shock’s music began to play. Shock interrupted Hart and challenged him to defend the AWA TV title right then and there. Hart accepted and the impromptu match began immediately. After some impressive chain wrestling, Shock took charge by tossing Hart over the top rope and following with a basement dropkick through the ropes to the outside.
Shock continued his dominance back inside the ring with a blatant rope choke until the referee called for a break, followed by and elbow drop on Hart’s back for a near fall. Shock used an overhead throw to set up a cross face submission in the center of the ring until Hart reached the ropes and forced a break
Still on the offensive, Shock charged Hart, who had fallen into one corner, but Hart got a boot up and followed with a rolling neck breaker for a near fall. Feeling the momentum shift, Hart slammed the mat to get the fans behind him, then lifted Shock up for a slam. Shock wriggled out and locked Hart in another cross face, but this time, Hart escaped on his own and, within seconds, hit his urunage slam finisher to end the night for Elliot Shock.
After the match, as Hart celebrated in the ring, R.J. “MuthaFlippin” Morgan ran in, snuck up behind Hart, and clocked him with a steel chair. Morgan locked Hart in a modified Coquina Clutch as two referees tried desperately to get Morgan to release his grip on the champion. Ultimately, it was the Golden Glovers who ran in and scared off Morgan, but not before the damage had been done. Feels like this story is just beginning.
WINNER: ZION HART
MATCH #3
MORGAN DASH vs. KRISTIAN ROBINSON
AWA CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP #1 CONTENDERS MATCH

Unfortunately, AWA Cruiserweight Champion, Mike Law, was unable to appear for his scheduled title defense against Kristian Robinson. Instead, Robinson would face Morgan Dash in a number one contender’s match for that title. After some early back and forth, it was Dash who gained the advantage first with a headlock takeover and a standing moonsault.
Dash climbed to the top rope, but missed on a shooting star press, giving Robinson an opening to go on offense. Robinson connected with some strikes, then slowed things down with an arm bar on the mat and a standing bear hug. Dash managed to escape the hold, but got hit with a back elbow from Robinson anyway.
Kristian Robinson successfully thwarted Morgan Dash’s attempts to rally, at one point withstanding a rolling senton and a missile drop kick before countering with a German Suplex with a bridge for a near fall. Robinson locked Dash in a cross-face submission, but Dash reversed it with a roll up for a near fall.
After an exchange of strikes in the middle of the ring, Robinson caught Dash with a GTS. Robinson attempted a German Suplex, but Dash landed on his feet. Unphased, Robinson hit back-to-back gut wrench suplexes and lifted Dash onto the top turnbuckle.
Robinson climbed up with Dash, but Morgan kicked him back down to the mat. Dash attempted another shooting star press, but did not get all of it. Taking less damage than expected from the move, Robinson was able to roll through, lock Dash back in the cross-face and forced him to submit.
WINNER: KRISTIAN ROBINSON

VLADIMIR KOLOFF & RUSSIAN ASSASSINS

With his surprise having been unveiled in this first match, Vladimir Koloff returned after intermission to officially introduce everyone to his Russian Assassins. After threatening to hit every young heckler in the crowd with a Russian Sickle, Koloff refocused and reminded everyone of his dominance as champion for nearly two years. Koloff confidently stated that his match with Rey Fury would be just more evidence of that dominance.
MATCH #4
VOODOOGODBONZ vs. FUNNY BONE (c)
AWA MERCILESS CHAMPIONSHIP

The challenger, Voodoogodbonz, seemed poised to take advantage early after the first run ended with a beautiful drop kick to Funny Bone. However, the champion evened the score with an ensiguri and followed with several chops in the corner. Voodoogodbonz hit a series of low kicks and a savate kick, then Funny Bone returned fire until the challenger rolled outside the ring for a breather.
Rather than allow the challenger to recover, Funny Bone flew through the middle ropes with a tope suicida then threw Voodoogodbonz back into the ring. The champion climbed to the top, but missed on the move. As Funny Bone rolled through, Voodoogodbonz locked him in a Fujiwara arm bar in the center of the ring.
Funny Bone blocked a suplex attempt and connected with a forearm to Voodoogodbonz’ back, leading to exchange of strikes in the center of the ring. Funny Bone looked to come off the ropes, but Voodoogodbonz nailed him with a bicycle kick that sent Funny Bone to the apron.
Voodoogodbonz followed Funny Bone out, but quickly found himself on the receiving end of a piledriver on the hardest part of the ring. Funny Bone tossed the challenger back into the ring, signaled to the crowd that the end was near, and peeled off his face paint.
However, Voodoogodbonz waited for Funny Bone to approach, then hit him with a cross arm slam and a DDT. Seemingly back in control, Voodoogodbonz climbed to the top rope, presumably to finish off the champion. However, Mother Endless had other ideas. Endless left her position at the commentary table and yanked Voodoogodbonz down by his leg. With the challenger straddling the top turnbuckle in pain, Funny Bone hit an ensiguri followed by a modified Michinoku Driver to retain.
WINNER: FUNNY BONE
MATCH #5
R.J. “MUTHAFLIPPIN” MORGAN vs. STEVEN MEEK vs. BRYMSTONE
VACANT AWA SOUTHERN CHAMPIONSHIP TRIPLE THREAT MATCH

Brymstone was originally slated to face 2 Cold Scorpio for the vacant AWA Southern Championship. However, Scorpio had travel issues and was unable to appear. In response, AWA officials replaced Scorpio with not one, but two, new opponents to face Brymstone for a shot at the title, R.J. “MuthaFlippin” Morgan and Steven Meeks.
Meeks gained the upper hand first with a step up cross body from the second rope to Brymstone and Morgan, then clotheslined Brymstone over the top rope and focused on Morgan. Morgan refused when Meeks offered Morgan a hit of his vape and the two tussled in the middle of the ring until Meeks attempted to come off the ropes and was tripped by Brymstone from the outside.
Quickly, Brymstone slid into the ring, suplexed Morgan and Meeks simultaneously, and got a near fall on Morgan. Morgan would recover and trapped Brymstone in the corner with a boot choke and a series of stomps. Out of the corner of his eye, Morgan saw Meeks stirring on the outside. So, Morgan hit Meeks with a basement dropkick to keep him at bay.
Morgan slid back into the ring and approached Brymstome who was clearly waiting for him. Brymstone launched an attack once Morgan was near, then jumped to the second rope for a flying knee strike. Brymstone made the cover, but Meeks returned to break up the pin as Morgan rolled to the outside.
Meeks and Brymstone battled in the center of the ring until Morgan returned to assist Meeks with a two-on-one assault. Somehow, Brymstone fought off both men and locked Morgan in a sharpshooter. Meeks came off the ropes with a boot to Brymstone’s head to break Morgan out of the hold. Morgan thanked Meeks with a suplex.
Morgan climbed to the top rope for a moonsault, but Brymstone moved at the last second. Meeks hit Morgan with a Northern Lights Suplex, and kipped up excitedly. However, when Meeks turned around, he got hit with a Brymstone Superman punch and did not get up.
WINNER AND NEW CHAMPION: BRYMSTONE
MATCH #6
A.K. vs. MANNY LO
VACANT AWA OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

Next, it was time for Manny Lo to make good on his boastful promises from earlier in the evening. AK attacked Manny off the opening bell, but Lo recovered and hit some loud chops around the ring and ended a flurry with a dropkick that sent AK to the outside. Manny followed and chased AK around the ring until AK slid back in.
As Lo tried to re-enter, AK went for a clothesline and missed. Manny jumped to the second rope for springboard maneuver, but AK pulled him down to the mat by his tights. AK hit a series of chops, then Manny Lo hit several of his own until AK grabbed him by the tights and flung him backwards into the turnbuckle. AK got a near fall after a running kick in the corner, another after a rope choke and a shotgun basement dropkick, and yet another off of a spinning suplex.
Lo managed to stop the onslaught momentarily with a chin breaker, but charged AK in the corner and missed. Lo climbed to the top rope. AK followed right behind and hit a superplex that left both men down. AK rolled over for a cover, but managed just a two count.
AK went for an urunage, but Manny Lo reversed it with an arm drag, and followed with a springboard cross body and a boot to the head off the ropes. After a near fall, Manny Lo climbed to the top rope again, but missed. As Manny Lo rose to his feet, AK hit a cutter out of nowhere for a near fall.
AK went for a rip cord clothesline, but Manny Lo blocked it. AK charged and Manny lifted him up and over to the apron. Manny hit a step up kick to AK from the second rope that sent AK crashing to the floor in perfect position for a tope suicida. Lo threw AK back into the ring and climbed to the top rope. Again, AK met Manny up top, but this time, Manny Lo knocked him back down to the mat and hit a flying elbow drop for the win.
WINNER AND NEW CHAMPION: MANNY LO
MATCH #7
VLADIMIR KOLOFF (c) vs. REY FURY
AWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

Three new champions had already been crowned, leaving the fans to wonder if there would be a fourth as the main event match for the AWA Heavyweight Championship began. Rey Fury got the fans behind him with chants of “Yeet Yeet” which infuriated the champion so much that he left the ring and covered his ears.
When Koloff returned, the back-and-forth chatter continued for a while until the two combatants finally locked up. The first flurry ended with a Rey Fury hurricanrana and Fury followed with a trip that caused Koloff to fall, throat first, on the middle rope, then yanked on the rope to propel Koloff backwards and out of the ring.
Fury jumped up and over onto the apron, but missed a running kick. Koloff tried to strike from the floor, but Fury cartwheeled over him and onto the floor where he hit a savate kick and a punch to the face. The two continued to brawl until Koloff rolled back into the ring and Fury climbed to the top rope.
Koloff saw it coming and rolled away. Fury approached, but the savvy champion raked his eyes and hit a cannonball senton in the corner for a near fall. Koloff subdued Fury with a boot choke in the corner, then tossed Fury across the ring, hit a senton for a near fall, and choked him again.
After a brief skirmish at ringside, Koloff regained control inside the ring with a boot to the face, a body slam and an elbow drop for a near fall. Koloff thwarted a rally from Fury when he reversed an Irish Whip and hit an ensiguri, then draped Fury’s neck on the middle rope and came crashing down on Fury’s back to injure the throat even more.
Koloff used a rear choke to slow things down again, and later went with a sleeper hold in the center of the ring. The referee checked Fury three times, with Fury’s arm staying up the third time, leading to what looked to be a rally for Fury. However, Koloff hit a lariat off an Irish Whip, and followed with a splash off the ropes to maintain control.
Koloff climbed to the top rope, but Fury got up in time to meet Koloff up there. Koloff head butted Fury down, but missed a flying elbow drop. Both men stayed down for a while. They exchanged chops and punches as they rose to their feet until Fury hit a reverse neck breaker that left both men down once more.
Koloff slumped into one corner, but got a boot up when Rey charged, then climbed to the top rope. Fury used a hurricanrana to bring Koloff back down to the mat and both men were down again. Fury rolled to the apron, but Koloff caught him when he tried to spring back in and hit a sit-out power bomb.
When Koloff tried to capitalize, Fury hit him with an ensiguri and climbed to the top rope. At that moment, Koloff’s Russian Assassins ran in and stood between Rey Fury and their leader. Fury leapt over both Assassins, then dispatched them one by one. Fury hit Koloff with a super kick that sent the champion to the outside, as well, then hit all three with a tope con hilo.
Fury threw Koloff back into the ring and climbed to the top rope again. This time, the Assassins ran in and covered Koloff to protect the champion. Fury responded with his version of the Froggy ‘Bow, sending the Assassins back outside the ring. However, in the chaos, Koloff rolled to the edge of the ring and grabbed his championship belt. With the referee distracted by the Assassins, Koloff hit Fury with the belt, and followed with a Russian Sickle just as the referee turned back around.
