Coastal Championship Wrestling “Alive” Episode 173 debuted Tuesday on YouTube. This episode’s matches were pre-taped at CCW Conquer Kissimmee from Sun on the Beach in Kissimmee, Florida on October 13, 2023. Here is what happened:
MATCH #1
RUTHIE JAY (c) vs. ARIE ALEXANDER
CCW WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP
An early display of chain wrestling led to a Ruthie Jay advantage when the champion hit Meteora knees on Arie Alexander in the corner and followed with a Northern Lights suplex. Alexander slumped into one corner, waited for Jay to approach, and sent her crashing into the turnbuckle with an STO to turn the tide in her favor.
Alexander hit a gut wrench suplex and a knee strike to the face, then grabbed an arm bar in the center of the ring. Alexander whipped Jay into the ropes, but Jay rebounded with a spin kick that left both women down. They rose to their feet exchanging blows until the champion hit a clothesline, dropkick, a suplex and a facebuster that led to a near fall.
As they rose to their feet once more, the two competitors exchanged chops until Alexander hit a Samoan Drop for a near fall. Again, the two women exchanged blows as they stood up. This time, Jay ended it with a whip and her Stardust finisher for the win. Afterward, Jay had little time to celebrate as Mila Moore ran in from the back, ambushed Jay, and stood over the champ with the belt held high.

MATCH #2
Q.T. MARSHALL (c) vs. ARIEL LEVY
AAA LATIN AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP
Before this match began, Q.T. Marshall addressed Ariel Levy on the microphone. Marshall said Levy did not care about the fans or his friends when he was champion, but now that he lost the belt, he’s come crawling back begging for forgiveness. Levy took the microphone, told Marshall he was dead wrong, then punched Marshall in the face.
As the bell rang, it was Levy with a flurry of offense that sent Marshall out to ringside to regroup. Levy followed and tossed Marshall back in the ring. However, when Levy approached Marshall in the corner, Marshall hit a knee to the midsection. Levy countered and Irish Whip with a duck and chop, then stood over Marshall in the corner, landing punches as the fans counted along.
Levy charged the corner, but Marshall lifted Levy up and over to the apron. Levy countered with a reverse neck breaker across the ropes, then leapt to the second rope for a leg lariat. Unfortunately for Ariel, Marshall moved out of the way, which sent Levy crashing to the apron, then the floor. Marshall followed and tossed Levy into the ring steps, then dragged Ariel to the stage and body slammed him there.
Marshall ran back to the ring to beat the referee’s count, hoping Levy would not make it. Levy barely made it back before being counted out and Marshall pounced with stomps in the corner and a back elbow for a near fall. Levy tried to fight back, but Marshall hit a handspring ensiguri to regain control.
Later, Levy used two shoulder tackles and a German suplex for a near fall to get some momentum back. Marshall rolled outside and Levy hit a tope suicida, then tossed the champion back in the ring. Levy climbed to the top and hit a flying elbow for a near fall, then followed with a Blue Thunder Bomb for another.
Levy attempted the Tornado DDT, but Marshall pushed Levy off the second rope and hit a big boot to the face of the challenger. Marshall signaled for the cutter, but Levy reversed with a backslide. The fans started to sense a title change as Levy followed with two sets of Meteora knees, and Exploder Suplex, and a Codebreaker. Levy made the cover, but Marshall saved himself by getting one foot on the bottom rope at the very last second.
Marshall stunned Levy with a sudden throat strike off the reset, then made the cover with his feet on the ropes. When that still garnered just a two count, Marshall argued with, then pushed the referee. Marshall charged Levy in the corner, but Levy hit a Tornado DDT and went for another Codebreaker. This time, though, Marshall saw it coming. The champ held on to Levy, propelled him upward, and finished him off with a pop-up cutter for the win.
WINNER: Q.T. MARSHALL
