Coastal Championship Wrestling “Alive” Episode 186 debuted Tuesday on YouTube. This episode’s match was pre-taped at Bash at the Brew 38 from Unbranded Brewing Company in Hialeah, Florida on March 2, 2024. Here is what happened:
MATCH #1
MONSTER MOSH vs. THE NIGHTRIDERS
Skitz and Eddie Valentine started this match for their respective teams. Skitz gave Eddie Valentine fits as he used his quickness to evade Valentine. At one point, Skitz dove out of the ring and Valentine chased him all the way around and back into the ring. Once they returned to the ring, Valentine evaded Skitz with a cartwheel, then Skitz evaded Valentine with a forward handspring, and they both tagged out.
Ozzy Kilmeister hit a shoulder tackle on Joe Garcia, then slapped him in the face. Kilmeister used a fireman’s carry takedown to set up an armbar, then tagged Skitz who hit a double axe handle to the arm, grabbed an armbar of his own, and tagged Kilmeister. Ozzy came off the second rope with a headbutt to Garcia’s arm, whipped him into the corner and brought Skitz back in.
Kilmeister tried to whip Skitz into Garcia, but Garcia moved and countered with a sliding German suplex to Skitz. From there, Garcia trapped Skitz in his team’s corner to cut off the ring and double team Skitz with Valentine. Eventually, Garcia whipped Skitz into the corner and charged. Skitz moved and tagged Ozzy. Garcia tagged Valentine, as well.
At this point all four men were in the ring. Ozzy and Skitz tried to whip The Nightriders into one another. Valentine and Garcia did a do-si-do and looked to attack Monster Mash with clotheslines. However, Kilmeister and Skitz both ducked the attack, and countered with clotheslines of their own.
Ozzy followed that with an elbow drop to Eddie Valentine and tried to whip him into the corner. Valentine reversed and unleashed a series of punches, followed by a kick to the mid-section. Garcia re-entered and choked Ozzy on the middle ropes twice before the referee forced a break.
An Irish Whip from Garcia led to a flurry of back and forth, that eventually brought Valentine into the ring. The whole thing ended when Kilmeister caught Garcia in mid-air and propelled him right into Valentine with a fall away slam that left all three men down. Kilmeister made it to his corner first and tagged Skitz.
Skitz hit a clothesline to Garcia and a spinning head scissors to Valentine, then leapt to the second rope for a flying cross body to Garcia. Skitz hit a springboard hip attack to Valentine and brought Ozzy back in for an Eat Defeat/Ripcord Headbutt combination that resulted in a near fall.
Once again, all four men were back in the ring, until Garcia and Skitz tumbled over the top rope to the floor. Ozzy and Valentine exchanged blows in the center of the ring until Ozzy hit a headbutt, then another. Valentine countered with a headbutt of his own which caused Ozzy to fall backward into the ropes. Ozzy rebounded off of the ropes, though, with a headbutt that dropped Valentine and left both men down.
Moments later, all four men were back in the ring, brawling in the center. Valentine tossed Skitz out of the ring and joined Garcia for a double whip into the ropes. Ozzy rebounded with force and broke through The Nightriders’ attempted double clothesline. However, on the next rebound, Valentine and Garcia hit a double crucifix slam and went for the cover. Skitz broke up the pinfall attempt, but was thrown over the top rope immediately afterward.
As Skitz flew over the top rope, the bell rang. There was some confusion at first, but it was announced that the time limit had expired. Kilmeister demanded the microphone and urged the referee to give them five more minutes. It seemed as though the referee would oblige, but Eddie Valentine took the microphone and loudly refused to continue. Instead, Valentine challenged Monster Mash to a Jailbreak Match in the future, contingent upon CCW agreeing to make the match.
RESULT: TIME LIMIT DRAW
