PROMO
RICKY MARTINEZ

The episode opened with Ricky Martinez coming to the ring to address the fans. He explained that he has made some bad decisions and wanted to apologize to the fans. His partnership with ERA, 5-Star ERA, always ended up creating more problems than it was worth. Looking at his son for the first time, Martinez said he realized he need to make a change.

Martinez invited Domino, who has been at war with 5-Star ERA in recent weeks, to come to the ring so Martinez could apologize to him, as well. Domino was suspicious and told Martinez he would not fall for this trick again. Martinez told Domino he hopes to be able to prove his sincerity to Domino in the future. Martinez offered an handshake, but Domino refused.

MATCH #1
DOMINO vs. ERA

As ERA came through the curtain, he came face-to-face with a departing Ricky Martinez. ERA tried to speak to Martinez, but Ricky wanted no part of it and continued past his old partner. After ERA got over the shock of that exchange, he turned, sprinted toward the ring, and immediately attacked Domino.

Domino attempted to throw ERA over the top rope, but ERA skinned the cat and returned. Domino hit a neck breaker and threw ERA over the top for real the second time. At that point, ERA seemed disinterested in getting back into the ring. Eventually, Domino managed to grab ERA by the hair from inside the ring and flipped him back inside.

Domino hit a body slam and charged the corner, but ERA got a boot up and jumped to the top rope for a missile drop kick. After a running knee strike subdued Domino, ERA slowed things down and began to taunt the fans. Domino seemed poised to turn the tide with a sunset flip off of an Irish Whip, but ERA returned fire with a clothesline and a snap leg drop for a near fall.

Domino continued to battle as ERA thwarted multiple attempts to rally. However, when ERA decided to spit in his face, Domino got fired up. Domino hit a clothesline, back elbow, and flying forearm, then charged the corner. ERA got an elbow up and jumped to the second rope, but Domino caught him in mid-air and converted into a fall away slam.

Domino hit a belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall, but suddenly got caught in a cross face submission from ERA. Domino eventually reached the ropes and forced a break, then blocked an ERA superkick and went for a reverse STO. ERA blocked that and hit the superkick, but still could not pick up the win. Domino countered with a successful reverse STO for a near fall of his own, then signaled the end.

Domino lifted ERA into a fireman’s carry, but knocked out the referee with ERA’s legs in the process. ERA hit a low blow with the referee down, then went outside for a chair. At the same time, Ricky Martinez made his way back to the ring. Martinez took the chair, as ERA began to swing it in Domino’s direction, and a shoving match ensued. Suddenly, Martinez showed his true colors and hit Domino with a savate kick. As the referee came to, ERA made the cover and put his feet on the ropes for extra insurance.

WINNER: ERA

MATCH #2
CHA CHA CHARLIE vs. A.J. FRANCIS
STEEL CAGE MATCH

In what had to be the final chapter in the war between Cha Cha Charlie and A.J. Francis, it was decided that a steel cage filled with weapons would be the most fitting environment. Charlie took control early after Francis threw a steel chair at him but missed. Charlie hit a forearm in the corner, then chair shots to the groin, leg and back. Charlie set the chair up in the center of the ring and laid A.J.’s head across it for a stomp.

Cha Cha missed the stomp and Francis went for a choke slam. Charlie escaped and tried to come off the ropes with a cross-body, but A.J. caught him in mid-air and slammed him on the steel chair. Francis dragged Charlie over to the cage and slammed his face into the chain link. Not done with the cage, Francis lawn darted Charlie into it, slammed his face into it twice more, then grinded Charlie’s face along it in brutal fashion.

Francis would miss on a splash in the corner, which allowed Cha Cha to climb to the top rope for a missile drop kick. Charlie continued with forearm strikes off the ropes and a sling blade. Charlie set up a table in the center of the ring, but A.J. hit a low blow before Charlie could use it.

Instead, it was Francis who laid Cha Cha across the table, put on a hat, and climbed to the top rope. Instead of a Mangu Splash, Francis started walking along the top rope as Charlie made it back to his feet. Charlie hit Francis with a trash can lid, then, after a tussle on the top rope, power bombed Francis through the table.

Outside the ring, Francis’ buddy, former Miami Dolphin, Brent Grimes, knocked out the referee and took the key to the cage. Grimes entered and stood between Charlie and Francis, preventing Charlie from making his attack. Furious, Charlie threw Grimes face-first into the cage several times, then hit an elbow that sent Grimes back out to ringside.

As Charlie turned around, he was hit with a big boot from Francis. A.J. went for another choke slam, but Charlie again escaped. Francis charged the corner, but Cha Cha got a boot up. Charlie climbed to the top, but missed with a double axe handle. Francis countered with a choke slam and went for the pin, but arrogantly pulled Charlie’s head off the mat at the count of two.

Francis set up a wooden door in one corner, then splashed Charlie in the opposite corner and set Cha Cha on the top turnbuckle. Francis joined Charlie up top, but Charlie soon knocked Francis down and tried to escape the cage over the top. A.J. managed to grab a hold of Charlie’s leg at the last second, pulled him back inside, and power bombed him through the door.

A.J. set up a chair in the center, then grabbed a second one and struck Charlie in the back. Francis then set the second chair up to create a table for a second wooden door. Grimes returned and swung the steel chair at Cha Cha with Francis holding Charlie. However, Charlie moved and Grimes struck A.J. instead. Charlie chased Grimes back out of the cage, but Grimes slammed the cage door in Charlie’s face.

Francis came up from behind with a trash can lid, then set Charlie on the top buckle once more. This time, Francis ended up knocking Charlie off the top and tried to climb out the top of the cage. Charlie hit A.J. with a trash can lid multiple times to stunt Francis’ progress, then climbed to the top rope and superplexed Francis through the door.

With the fans on their feet, Charlie grabbed his hat and signaled for the Mangu Splash. Cha Cha climbed to the top rope, then to the top of the cage for an homage to the Superfly as he hit the Mangu Splash from fifteen feet in the air. Both men were down momentarily, but, slowly, Charlie crawled over and made the cover to get the hard-fought victory.

WINNER: CHA CHA CHARLIE
