Invictus Pro Wrestling “Locked In” – 8/2/24

Invictus Pro Wrestling made their show “Locked In” from August 2, 2024 available to view on Youtube. Here’s what happened:

  • Kaia McKenna (c) def. Jordan Blade (Invictus Women’s Championship)
    • Former Champion Clara Carreras joined the commentary team during the match and attempted to distract McKenna to cost her the match. When that failed, Carreras confronted and attacked McKenna after the match.
  • Adonis Stone def. Myles Millennium, Adam Ace, Benny Blanco, Yvng Mobster Vincenzo, Ricky Harway, Troy Tresdin, and Lou Jacobs (8 Man Scramble Match)
    • Adonis Stone withstood a superkick from Myles Millennium, escaped Millennium’s finisher, then hit what looked like a spinning double underhook suplex to pick up the victory in a wild eight man match.
  • Gabriel Skye def. Myung-jae Lee (Unconquered Cup First Round Match)
    • A new attitude for Gabriel Skye seems to be puzzling the fans, but is producing results. Skye’s new found focus (and a timely low blow) earned him the victory and propelled him into the Grand Championship Fatal Four Way match at “Demon Time” in October.
  • Jarett Diaz def. Mike Skyros (Unconquered Cup First Round Match)
    • With his family in attendance in his home town, and with his partner Matt Awesome at ringside despite some recent issues between the Uptown Boyz, Jarett Diaz used a Cross Rhodes to put away Skyros and join Gabriel Skye in the Grand Championship Fatal Four Way.
  • Ken Powers def. Wrecking Ball Legursky (Unconquered Cup First Round Match)
    • Before intermission, the First Lady of Genesis, Samira, came out, interrupted Ryan Peterson, and said Genesis had a statement to make. They introduced their newest member, Big Game Leroy, who immediately called out Invictus owner Alex Accetta. Accetta tried to convince Leroy to leave Genesis behind and go back to the way he used to be. For a moment, Leroy looked convinced, but then he kicked Alex in the crotch and Genesis piled on.
    • When the match got underway, Clipper Jones and ABBS tried to distract Legursky to assist Powers. However, it was Big Game Leroy’s distraction of the referee that allowed Powers to level Legursky with a steel chair and make the cover for the victory as the referee turned back around.
  • Killian McMurphy defeated Matt Awesome (Unconquered Cup First Round Match)
    • Matt Awesome had to deal with interference from the Dummy on the outside throughout the match. Jarett Diaz eventually helped Awesome steal The Dummy and beat it with his chancla. In doing so, however, Awesome took his eye off the ball. McMurphy attacked Matt with a lariat and became the final competitor in the Grand Championship Fatal Four Way.
  • Memory Museum (c) def. Milk Chocolate (Invictus Tag Team Championship)
    • Milk Chocolate looked poised to regain the Invictus Tag Team titles with several close near falls during a hectic contest. However, a hooded figure ran in and attacked Randy Summers with the title belt, which ultimately allowed Memory Museum to retain. Who was the hooded man? Dominic Denaro.
  • PJ Savage def. Robert Martyr (Invictus Social Media Championship)
    • The new Social Media Championship belt was unveiled for the crowd prior to this match to crown a new Social Media Champion. Robert Martyr maintained control for a long time by working, and weakening, the right leg of P.J. Savage. Savage rallied furiously, but Martyr thwarted with a piledriver and a splash on right knee to set up the figure four. Savage escaped and reversed an Irish Whip for a spear. Martyr rose to his knees and told P.J. Savage he is nothing and would always be nothing. Angered, Savage destroyed Martyr with a running knee and claimed the championship for a second time.

Invictus Pro Wrestling’s next event will be “Demon Time” which takes place on October 4, 2024 at Roselle Park High School in Roselle Park, New Jersey. Check Invictus’ social media for more information.
