Arizona Wrestling Federation presented Grudge Match on their Youtube channel on September 6, 2024. Here’s what happened:
- Announcement
- AWF owner Jared began the episode by announcing the main event for Overdrive 11 on September 21, 2024. The match will be a fatal four way contest with Chubby Depp defending against Brian Kendrick, Lorenzo and Da Goosh.
- Taylor Kingsley def. Dos Equis by Countout (AWF Grudge Match Tournament)
- Taylor Kingsley dominated early, but Dos Equis fired up after a slap to the face from Kingsley. Kingsley was cruising along until a poorly timed frog splash missed the mark. Kingsley nearly won the match with a modified Future Shock DDT. Dos Equis returned fire with a torture rack cutter before the action spilled outside the ring. Just before the referee’s count reach ten, Taylor Kingsley slid back into the ring.
- SOS def. Crissy Rivas
- Crissy Rivas started hot, but SOS used her size and strength to overpower Rivas and shift the momentum. SOS hit a Samoan drop that seemed certain to end the match, but after a near fall, SOS got distracted by BTT at ringside. SOS turned back around and placed Rivas on the top turnbuckle, but Rivas countered SOS strategy with a Tornado DDT and, just like that, SOS was done for the night.
- Maverick def. Mighty Mike (AWF Grudge Match Tournament)
- The action spilled outside the ring quickly in this main event match after Mighty Mike knocked the unsuspecting Maverick off of the apron when his back was turned leading to a ringside chase. Back inside the ring, Mighty Mike reversed a fireman’s carry into DDT. Later, Mike used a referee distraction to launch some offensive strikes, but Maverick hit a fall-away slam and then a front slam. Just as it seemed Maverick had the match, Mighty Mike hit two superkicks, then evaded a charging Maverick, climbed to the top rope and hit a frog splash for a near fall. Moments later, however, Maverick used a referee distraction to hit a low blow kick that set up a spear to earn the victory.
