Paradigm Pro Wrestling “Gimmie Little Sign” – 7/28/24

Paradigm Pro Wrestling made their show “Gimmie Little Sign” from July 28, 2024 available to view on Youtube this past weekend. Here’s what happened:

  • Alex Daniels (c) def. Daniel Starling (Paradigm Triple Crown Championship)
    • The champion was first to take control of this match with a jumping reverse bulldog after a flurry of offense from Daniel Starling. Starling rallied after getting the better of a strike exchange in the middle of the ring and followed with an Oklahoma Slam. Starling went for a top rope flying headbutt, but missed. Daniels got a near fall with a fireman’s carry shoulder breaker, but missed on a second rope cutter. Starling went for a second Oklahoma Slam, but Daniels wriggled out, hit a jumping knee strike, and finally connected with the second rope cutter.
  • Noah Veil def. Hunter Drake
    • Hunter Drake took control of this furiously paced middleweight match after a corner cannonball and a tope suicida. Veil turned the tide when they reversed a whip, then hit a superkick followed by a codebreaker. Veil missed a top rope double stomp, which allowed Drake to rally. Drake hit a standing shooting star press then a top rope 450° splash, but could not seal the deal. Moments later, Drake put Veil on the top rope and climbed up, but Veil knocked Drake down to the mat and connected with the double stomp.
  • Savannah Sweet def. Stevie Ash
    • Stevie Ash managed to take control of this match when she reversed a clothesline with one of her own and followed with a knee to the back with Savannah Sweet’s neck on the ropes. Ash held a boot choke until the referee forced a break, but Savannah Sweet hulked up as soon as she was free. Sweet used a series of chops to set up a front handspring splash in the corner and got a near fall with a facebuster. Ash returned fire with a Canadian Destroyer. Sweet countered with a spinning fisherman’s buster. When that garnered just a two count, Sweet hit a modified Pedigree to get the victory.
  • Alex Kane def. Alexis Littlefoot
    • Alex Kane’s return to PPW was facilitated by this open challenge from Alexis Littlefoot which seemed a poor choice by Alexis in hindsight. Kane gave Alexis a free shot and she kicked him in the stomach. Littlefoot tried to stick and move, but Kane caught her. The former MLW Champion held Littlefoot in a vertical suplex for a very long time, then decimated her with a chop the announcers called “Frank Thomas-like.” Kane went for an Oklahoma Stampede, but Littlefoot escaped and hit Eat Defeat. Kane returned fire with an Exploder Suplex, but Littlefoot landed on her feet and hit a back elbow. Infuriated, Kane suddenly locked Littlefoot in Fade to Black and it was all over.
  • Azrael Rowe/Norm def. Tragedy Boiz, Death Clutch & White Trash Forever (Vacant Paradigm Tag Team Championship)
    • An injury to Matt Diesel caused No Limit Demons to vacate the tag titles, which gave way to this fatal four way title match to crown new champions. As the match began, all three teams took a shot at Sidney von Engeland, then turned their attention to Ron Bass, Jr. who quickly powdered. Death Clutch returned at the opportune time and nearly used a spinning slide slam to Dylan Cole to pick up the victory, but soon all six men were back in the ring trying to subdue big RBJ. When Bass rolled outside the ring again, Saturn Price hit a tope to both members of Death Clutch, followed by Dylan Cole. In the chaos, Bruce Grey laid down and tried to let his partner, Dylan Voxx, pin him for the titles. RBJ broke it up at the last second, then lifted Azrael Row and power bombed him onto the pack at ringside. WTF and Azrael Row and Norm were the first two teams back into the ring. Norm hit a stunner and went for “The Norm,” but was interrupted by Juicy Jimmy, who nearly knocked Norm out with one punch. When Jimmy lifted Norm up for a slam, Chad rushed in and hit a low blow to Jimmy. The Juicy one fell forward onto Bruce Grey. Norm piled on top, then Azrael Row on top of him, giving Bruce Grey no chance to escape.

Paradigm Pro Wrestling’s next event will be “Heavy Hitters” which takes place on September 13, 2024 at the OLPH Brewery in New Albany, Indiana. Check Paradigm’s social media for more information.
