Ragin’ Pro Wrestling presented the fourth edition of its “Destiny” event at the Big Apple Pub & Grill in Manitowoc, Wisconsin on November 1, 2024. Here’s what happened:
MATCH #1
JAYDEN MERCER vs. CHAD POUTINE vs. ISAIAH MOORE
RPW CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP TRIPLE THREAT MATCH

Isaiah Moore dominated the early stages of this match, until he got caught in a backslide by Jayden Mercer for a near fall. Mercer went for a superplex, but Chad Poutine rushed in and power bombed both men.
All three men remained down on the mat until Mercer was up and charged the corner but missed. Chad Poutine capitalized on Mercer’s mistake with a huge spear to Jayden off the miss. Before Poutine could make the cover and win the championship, though, Isaiah Moore returned with an ensiguri that sent Poutine back outside the ring. From there, Moore just had to cover Mercer himself and claim the Cruiserweight Championship.
WINNER AND NEW CHAMPION: ISAIAH MOORE
MATCH #2
LAYNIE LUCK vs. SIERRA

Fans booed Sierra as this match got underway because she seemed to have no desire to get in the ring with Laynie Luck. When Sierra finally returned and engaged, Laynie Luck dominated. Soon, Luck threw Sierra back outside the ring and followed, leading to a brawl at ringside.
Sierra managed to get back into the ring first and took the opportunity to ambush the returning Luck and take control of the match. Sierra managed to thwarts Luck’s first attempt to rally with a back elbow reversal. However, when Luck slumped into the corner, Sierra charged and Luck evaded.
At that point, the rally was on. Laynie Luck hit a flying clothesline and a stunner for a near fall, then followed with an STF that seemed certain to force Sierra to submit. However, the savvy Sierra, cheated her way out of the hold, then lifted Luck onto the top turnbuckle. Sierra climbed up with Luck, but suddenly, Luck hit a tornado DDT from the top rope and Sierra’s night was finished.
WINNER: LAYNIE LUCK
MATCH #3
GEN Z (c) vs. NATURAL VIOLENCE
RPW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

Salem Crane and Nick Colucci gained the upper hand from the outset after several loud chops from Crane to Roy Cooper. Nick Colucci tagged in and assisted on a double team, but Roy Cooper waited for the right time, poked Colucci in the eye, and tagged in Preston Palmer.
Palmer did not fare much better initially. Preston took some hard chops from Colucci, then got caught with a knee to the groin as he attempted to leap frog Colucci. Seeing his teammate in trouble, Cooper would interfere from the apron, causing a distraction that allowed Palmer to pounce. From there, Gen Z used frequent tags and cut off the ring effectively to prevent a tag.
Gen Z thwarted multiple attempts to rally, and even survived Natural Violence’s burst of momentum after Colucci made the hot tag to Crane. Gen Z quickly righted the ship and began to dominate Crane. When Crane had a chance to tag out, Roy Cooper pulled Colucci off of the apron to prevent it. From there, Cooper hit a back stabber to Crane and Palmer followed with a second rope splash for a near fall.
Palmer charged the corner on Crane, but missed, which allowed Crane to finally make the tag. Colucci entered fast with a brain buster to Palmer for a near fall, but got reversed off the ropes with sit-out, spinning spine buster from Preston. Cooper immediately followed with a super kick and signaled to the fans that the end was near.
However, Colucci reversed a whip with a spear to Cooper, which led Palmer to grab his big ring to use as a weapon. Palmer entered, started to swing, and was halted by Salem Crane who stole the ring…then clocked his own partner with it and left.
WINNERS: GEN Z
MATCH #4
YETI HENDERSON vs. JOEY AVALON

Joey Avalon was unsure of how to deal with the unpredictable Yeti Henderson. As the match got underway, Henderson would threaten to hit Avalon with his big stick any time Avalon got near the ring. Eventually, Avalon got Yeti outside with him, threw him back into the ring, then immediately threw him back out.
When both men returned to the ring, Henderson immediately clotheslined Avalon back over the top rope, which led to a brawl that spread throughout the venue. Back inside the ring, yet again, Henderson tried to retrieve his big stick, but the referee took it away. As the ref turned to dispose of the stick, Henderson grabbed the stuffed wolf’s head he brought and tried to shove it up Avalon’s back side.
Once again, the action spilled outside where Joey Avalon took control after shoving Henderson face-first into the ring post. Inside the ring, Avalon tried to slow things down and used nefarious tactics to keep the Yeti subdued. Eventually, Yeti would reverse Avalon off the ropes into an airplane spin, then reversed a second whip with a DDT that left both men down.
Henderson was up first and went for another airplane spin. Avalon escaped, but Henderson countered with a fall away slam and a Yakuza kick in the corner. At that point, Avalon complained to the ref that Henderson was pulling his hair, but it was just a distraction so the referee would not see Avalon hit a low blow kick to Henderson.
Avalon hit a reverse neck breaker and a top rope flying elbow drop for a near fall, then went to Yeti’s corner for the wolf’s head. Avalon charged with the stuffed head, but got reversed into an urunage from Henderson. Avalon rolled out of the ring, waited for Henderson to turn around, then climbed back into the ring and charged forward with a modified Claymore kick.
WINNER: JOEY AVALON
MATCH #5
GARRISAON CREED vs. JDX

JDX cut a promo before the match in which he got the name of the town wrong three different times while carrying a sign that says “THIS TOWN SUX.” However, when the match started, it was Garrisaon Creed in control. Creed clotheslined JDX over the tope rope to the floor.
The battle spilled onto the floor, then up to the apron. JDX grabbed some type of foreign object, but the referee took it away. Of course, as the referee removed the object, JDX ambushed Creed and took control of the match. After some offense from JDX, Creed rolled outside the ring.
When he returned, JDX charged from the corner, but Creed sidestepped and followed with a springboard moonsault and a flying forearm in the corner. Creed looked for a second moonsault, but JDX moved and pulled an object from his artist smock. Again, the referee took the object. Again, JDX hit a low blow kick behind the referee’s back. From there, JDX hit a finisher that looked like a Razor’s Edge converted into a flapjack and took home the victory.
WINNER: JDX
MATCH #6
BRICK MCCARTHY (c) vs. SHANE HILLS
RPW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

These two heavyweights were brawling from the opening bell and the action immediately spilled outside the ring and throughout the entire venue for several minutes. Shane Hills was eventually the first one to get back into the ring. When Brick McCarthy tried to follow, Hills kicked the ropes and took control.
After all of that intense fighting outside the ring, Hills tried to slow things down and used a boot choke to keep control of the champion inside it. At one point, McCarthy looked to start a rally, but Hills yanked McCarthy down to the mat by his hair to retain the upper hand. Soon after, McCarthy started to fight back again, but Hills poked him in the eye. Then, suddenly, McCarthy locked Hills in a sleeper hold that seemed to be effective. However, Hills broke out and hit a spinebuster to regain control, once again.
Finally, McCarthy got a real rally going. A flurry of offense ended with a McCarthy spine buster for a near fall which left both men down. McCarthy was up first and hit a Fame-Ass-Er, but could still garner just a two count. So, McCarthy got back up, hit a DDT, and made the cover to retain.
WINNER: BRICK MCCARTHY
MATCH #7
KACI LENNOX vs. MAGGIE LEE
RPW WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP

The confident champion was taunting challenger Maggie Lee before the opening bell and even slapped Lee across the face. Lee immediately returned fire, to the delight of the fans, and unleashed a flurry of offense to take control of the match briefly. Lennox would right the ship and trap Lee in the corner for some hard chops, then slowed things down in the center of the ring.
Lennox continued to taunt both Lee and the fans as she dominated the early stages, but almost got pinned after a quick roll up from Lee. Lennox was up first and used a punch to the face to regain control. Lee tried to rally again moments later, but Lennox reversed her with a clothesline that left both women down on the mat.
Lee was up first and climbed to the top rope, but missed Lennox coming off. Lee, though, hit the mat, somersaulted forward, then turned around and hit a nasty shotgun dropkick into the corner on the champion. Lennox rebounded out of the corner and Lee used an O’Connor Roll for a near fall.
Lee followed that with a hip attack for another near fall, then lifted Lennox into a fireman’s carry. Lennox pulled Lee’s hair to facilitate her escape and Lee slumped into the corner. Lennox charged, but Lee sidestepped, jumped up to the second rope and hit a blockbuster for a near fall.
This time, Lennox slumped into the corner and Lee approached. Lennox stunned Lee by grabbing the challenger and throwing her backwards, neck-first into the ropes. Lennox followed with a spinebuster, but Lee kicked out at two. Lennox climbed to the second rope, but Lee charged with a Yakuza kick and quickly converted into a fireman’s carry driver for a near fall. Somehow, Lennox was up first, locked Lee in what looked like a modified guillotine, then converted into a driver to get the win.
WINNER: KACI LENNOX
MATCH #8
MR. ANDERSON vs. ZILLA FATU

This match, which Zilla Fatu kept saying was “15 years in the making,” lived up to the hype. After an extended feeling out process, Fatu went for the Samoan Spike. Mr. Anderson avoided the spike, but Fatu followed with hard chops in each corner until Anderson poked him in the eye.
Anderson went to ram Fatu’s head into the turnbuckle, but of course, Fatu did not feel a thing. Fatu whipped Anderson into the corner and went for a splash but missed. Anderson rolled outside the ring, waited for Fatu to approach the apron, then snapped his neck on the top rope.
Back inside the ring, Anderson took control for a while, then threw Fatu back outside. Anderson followed right behind and they brawled at ringside. At one point, Anderson cleared the fans from one section to throw Fatu through the chairs, then faked out the crowd and gently rolled him back inside the ring instead.
When Anderson followed Fatu into the ring, Zilla tried to mount an offensive. It seemed to be effective, but Anderson managed to reverse Zilla into a back breaker to briefly thwart the rally. Zilla slumped into one corner and Anderson charged. Fatu moved and countered with a back drop that left both men down.
Fatu was first up and hit two clotheslines and a flying shoulder tackle in short order. Zilla attempted the Samoan Spike again, but Anderson ducked. Anderson followed with a back elbow and a modified Death Valley Driver. When that garnered just a two count, Anderson went for the Mic Check. Fatu escaped and quickly hit a pop-up Samoan Drop followed by a Superman punch and that was all she wrote.
WINNER: ZILLA FATU
