This week’s podcast is highlighted by our Wrestler Spotlight interview with Draven the Blackbird King. Draven talks about his journey through wrestling, his first match, his deathmatch feud with J.C. Extreme at X-Brand Wrestling, his lucha exploits under a mask as Dra-Lucha, and his upcoming four-on-four elimination tag team match at DCW “Fast Fate” on January 11, 2025.
Draven also gives some interesting insight into his character and the development thereof. plus he gives us the link to the site where he offers all kinds of Draven merchandise, including everything from tennis shoes to women’s mini-skirts to Christmas stockings. The interview is really fun and Draven is an interesting and complex wrestling character. All of this leads to an interview you won’t want to miss!!
Also on the show, I take my first crack at reviewing an entire wrestling show solo as I discuss MCW Pro Wrestling’s “Season’s Beatings” which took place at the R.J. Meyer Arena in Joppa, Maryland on December 27, 2024. The show was headlined by a triple threat match for the MCW Championship, Kaun(c) vs. Demarcus Kane vs. Joseph Keys.
In addition, Ken Dixon took on the former Velveteen Dream, Patrick Clark, Myles Hawkins took on the former Kalisto, Samuray del Sol, and James Ellsworth teams up with Jeff Gainz to take on Nikita and Fenix Fury. On top of all of that, Alex Divine defends the Rage TV title in a six pack challenge, and “Mecca” Brian Johnson battles Miami Mike Walker in a 10 lashes match and so much more. Take a listen as I try to not to miss anything from this jam-packed show.
