Coastal Championship Wrestling “Alive” Episode 149 debuted Tuesday on YouTube. This episode matches were pre-taped at CCW Bash at the Brew 29 from the Unbranded Brewing Company in Hialeah, Florida on June 3, 2023. Here is what happened:
MATCH #1
NADIA WHITE vs. MILA MOORE
Mila Moore had the fans on her side and used that to fuel an early onslaught of offense. However, Lew Spectre evened the score when he tripped Mila coming off the ropes. In response, Nadia White took control and began working Moore’s leg on the mat.
Mila would eventually start a rally when she blocked a suplex and countered with one of her own. Moore countered a charging White with a back elbow, followed by two clotheslines and an urunage back breaker for a near fall.
Somehow, Nadia White grabbed a rear chin lock first after the pinfall attempt, then whipped Moore into the corner and hit a shoulder tackle. However, White tripped as she tried to come off the ropes for more offense. Suddenly, Mila Moore lifted Nadia White high into the air for a gourdbuster to get the win.
WINNER: MILA MOORE
MATCH #2
CHRIS FARROW (c) vs. JAKE ST. PATRICK
CCW CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Before this championship contest, Jake St. Patrick chided the fans for booing him after they had cheered him for so long. It does not matter either way, St. Patrick said, because no matter what, every day is St. Patrick’s day.
Chris Farrow immediately went on offense and forced St. Patrick to powder twice. The second time, Farrow tried to follow but St. Patrick caught him in mid-air, threw him back in the ring and took control with a double stomp.
After the commercial, St. Patrick and Farrow took turns working a modified Gory Special on the other. St. Patrick followed his with an ensiguri in the corner, then lifted Farrow onto the top turnbuckle. Before St. Patrick could join him up top, Farrow managed to knock St. Patrick down to the mat and hit a 450 splash for a near fall.
Later, St. Patrick turned the tide with a falling boot to the face of the champion and went to retrieve the CCW Cruiserweight Championship belt from ringside. Luckily, the referee saw St. Patrick and took the belt before he could use it. However, as the referee put the belt back in the corner, St. Patrick hit a low blow and a spin kick for the victory. After the match, St. Patrick said that the Chris Farrow era is over and the era of St. Patrick’s day has begun.
